Alvin Langstaff

Alvin Langstaff works for Bechtel National, Inc. and is currently assigned to the Safety Assurance organization at the Waste Treatment Plant Project (WTP) with primary responsibility for improvement of safety processes. Alvin has been with Bechtel for 14 years and has served as a six sigma black belt at both Bechtel Hanford and at WTP.

He holds a BS in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Engineering Management from Washington State University.

Prior to settling in the Northwest, Alvin worked at various mining projects in Colorado and Idaho. He is a registered professional engineer in Idaho. In addition to being a member of ASQ, he also is a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Inc.
